Jet2.com pulls two routes from Blackpool

Low-cost operator Jet2.com is to end flights from Blackpool to Prague and Amsterdam, citing "operational reasons" as to why the routes have ended.

In a letter to passengers affected by the closures the airline said the routes would end on June 3 and those passengers with tickets would be offered a refund.

Jet2.com has said that its other routes from Blackpool Airport, which include Belfast International, Palma and Faro will continue and its decision to end the two flights will not impact on its existing services.

The airline does offer flights to Prague and Amsterdam from Manchester Airport.
