Foreign low-cost airlines start flying to Russian province

The Italian low-cost airline WindJet intends to start flights from Forli to Rostov-on-Don, and this will be the first ever flight of a foreign discount air transporter to Russian province. Up to now WindJet, like many other discount air companies, such as Air Berlin, Niki, Germanwings, Norwegian, Alpi Eagles, have committed flights from Europe only to Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The new weekly flight will be introduced on 3 July; tickets booking is planned to start in April. The plane will leave Forli at 9.30am and arrive to Rostov at 3pm. The tickets` cost is not known at the moment, but WindJet offers one-way flights from Moscow to Italy for 90 EUR. However, it cannot be excluded that flying from Rostov will be more expensive.
