Free holiday to Italy in Ryanair Mother's Day offer

Ryanair is getting ready for "the mother of all giveaways" this week, with a free Italian holiday up for grabs.
With Mother's Day on Sunday, the low-cost airline is giving away "free" (pay the taxes and charges) flights and a hotel package to Italy so that devoted sons and daughters can give their mum an extra special treat.

In order to enter, people must send a poem or story to mothersday@ryanair.com explaining why their mother in particular deserves a trip away. Entries must include the contact details of both the entrant and the nominated mum.
The winner will receive a weekend for two in Bergamo, Italy, and ten runners-up will receive "free" one-way Ryanair flights.
"Forget cards and flowers - win your mother a gift she'll appreciate this year," said the airline's Peter Sherrard.
