Air Berlin set to absorb DBA into its business

From the beginning of April, German-based Air Berlin will move to incorporate the operations of recent acquisition DBA into its business. The airline bought DBA, a former subsidiary of British Airways, in August 2006 as the rapidly expanding operator looked to establish itself in Europe.

Air Berlin has now said that from April 1 the DBA livery will disappear and be incorporated into the company's red colour scheme. The two airline's systems have also been brought together to ensure fares, baggage allowance and services are in line with each other.
