Vueling:
Just in time for the launch of clickair at Barcelona, Spanish competitor Vueling will launch flights from Jerez to Barcelona. Vueling will begin flights on this route at the end of March 2007, whereas clickair are not due to commence flying this route until August.
Vueling will also launch flights from Jerez to Madrid at the same time. Flights are on sale at www.vueling.com.

Click Air
The recently launched Spanish low-cost airline, clickair, has launched an assault on the competition at Barcelona airport. Over the coming months they will launch 11 new routes, including flights to Verona (Villafranca), Venice (Marco Polo), Naples, Rome (Fiumicino), Pisa, Helsinki, Bucharest (Otopeni), Budapest, Vienna, Jerez and Warsaw.
They will also launch two new routes from Seville to London (Gatwick) and La Coruna.

Norwegian
Norwegian Air Shuttle will begin flights from Oslo (International) to destinations in Turkey. From the beginning of May 2007, they will begin flights to Antalya. They will also begin flights to Istanbul (Sabiha) on 02 June. These flights are already on sale at www.norwegian.no.

CentralWings
Polish low-cost airline Centralwings has announced that the three flights to Warsaw, Gdansk and Katowic will be available for booking as part of its winter 2007/08 schedule. The new routes are in addition to three times a week routes between Dublin and Wroclaw, Katowice and Gdansk, which were announced recently for 2007/08.

Easyjet
The no-frills carrier is launching a four-times weekly service from Edinburgh that will start on May 30 and is aimed at business and tourist travellers visiting Germany's sixth largest city.
